LSU shared the 2011 #1.
That should NOT count. We lost, let's move on.

I view LSU and UGA as basically the same program. Solid with ups and downs. On the verge of elite, but not quite there overall.

We don't want an easier cross division opponent, we just want it to be roughly equal. How is that "whining"? You think we should just take our tougher road and be happy about it? Well frick you that's not going to happen, and no amount of weak arse "you're pussies" arguments is going to change that. YOU'RE the pussies as far as I'm concerned for fighting so hard for an easier road.
remember retard, what people say and do on this forum has 0 effect on the teams...quit associating the 2...frick head.

Well, we did have our little brother sent to St. Cusa's orphanage, we just don't talk about him much any more.

Because the poster I was referring to said that Alabama, Tennessee and UGA were the face of Southern football in the 60's and 70's.
Any other questions?

Agree and I have...since ATL Saturday in fact. I just find it humorous.

Are you saying it doesn't count?
Are you asking if I think a ranking that doesn't include the final BCS ranking should count?

Are you saying a bowl game affirms/denies a claimed NC?
It does under the current system (BCS). You lost in the championship game, get over it.

Because their shite's padded since they were in the Texas League, and didn't have to go up against LSU, Alabama, UGA and UT year in and year out maybe.

Agree on both counts. If CLM can keep same overall success, win the conference a couple of more time and another NC...by say 2020...I think a solid argument could be made.

Dude, the final BCS ranking has LSU #1.
Don't look now
You obviously don't know what the BCS is.

Arkansas also played a full conference schedule back then, so it evens out imo.

If you count the 1984 SEC title for LSU, LSU and UGA are tied with 12 titles apiece.
That with LSU having more MNCs and win% head2head over the Dawgs, I give the nod to LSU.
Yes, 1984. UF won it, but had to vacate the title. The next best conference record was LSU - WHO HAD TIED UF AT GAINESVILLE - adn was selected to represent the SEC in the Sugar Bowl for that season. I count it, frick anyone that doesn't.

Then that means we can't claim 2007 brah

I forgot that they don't release standing after the BCSNCG because the actual game decides who the final #1 is. We have the crystal, move on and focus on next season.

Then why post a link claiming LSU shared the 2011 title when they don't?
