Look, quite honestly the reason South Carolina's program is better than Mizzou's program is because South Carolina is located in the south, is truly southern, and can identify with southern heritage.
Mizzou is in no way southern and cannot claim southern heritage. We have no access to southern recruiting. No half intelligent southern talent wants to come to Mizzou.

You actually managed to make a statement worse then the Gamecock guy... Even though stats back up Mizzou being Better. you are going with no southern talent wants to play for Mizzou. The person who said facts and rational statements don't belong here is right. I thought this site was better than the trolls on FB but I was clearly mistaken

Fine...since you're too afraid to discuss the Civil War and Missouri in a separate thread, I'll go ahead and start the thread to show you how it's done.

they are literally about equal to South car all time record and they dang sure are better as of recent. they are just as good or better as a program currently than the cocks haha compare their records

Ranters HATE Mizzou and Mizzou fans because they truly think we don't belong in the SEC because we're "Yankees".
A Civil War/Missouri thread would be a perfect thread to perhaps educate people who don't know that (for example) the Confederate flag has a star devoted to Missouri....and much more history that proves Missouri is a perfect fit.
You have to word threads appropriately, though.
You can't make it a Civil War discussion, per se. You must somehow make the Civil War discussion relevant to SEC sports.
For example, I might word the thread like this:
Missouri is a perfect fit in the SEC due to our Civil War history (and then write all your reasons for this rationale in the body of the thread)
or...
Missouri is good at football b/c of our southern heritage (and then write your brief history of the Civil War and Missouri's role in the Civil War within the body of thread).

pretty sure St Louis and Kansas City are much better recruiting grounds than anything South Carolina has to offer.. if Mizzou hires the right guy, he can recruit kids that want to play against the best in the SEC. Mizzou definitely will be back just wait. They couldn't recruit in the big12 cuz OU and other schools competing for KC and St Louis kids now they got them in the corner and they have a legit reason to come to Mizzou
