You can't count McCarron or people missing blocks as "involved in a sack" for this stat!

It should also be noted that McCarron had pretty modest numbers against Penn State. 19 for 31, 163 and a TD. Solid, but nothing to brag about.

LSU rotates its players who are all sophomores and freshmen.. I think like 60 of them.

Bama plays 22 players the entire game and they are all seniors.

To think that any team has more depth than Bama especially a noticeable depth advantage, is absolutely asinine

60 > 22

10 TD's and 3 INT's vs 13 TD's and 1 INT is not better.

3 int's in 200 attempts vs 1 int in 128 attempts is pretty damn close. I'll give you the three additional TD's. None the less, AJ still has a better completion percentage.

You and your fellow Bama fans seem on top of the stat situation. My question is do you think stats are a predictor for this upcoming game? I'm pretty sure that has not been the case the last 4 years... I could be wrong, and I've no doubt someone will correct me if I am.

On top of that, LSU has played West Virginia (#28) and Mississippi State (#17). Hell even Kentucky is #22.

So I look at those stats, see similar numbers, but one set comes against much better competition.

You're kidding, right? You call Miss St, WVU, & UK "Much Better Competition"? Ok man. If you say so.

Actually he is correct.

Maybe not necessarily a predictor per se. I think it's more of a preliminary indicator of how the two teams match up pound for pound. The way I see it, it's fun to talk smack with fellow SEC fans. After all, who the hell else is gonna talk smack to us? If we lose...well it'll suck, but at least I know another BCS title will still end up in an SEC trophy case. No other team in the country will even come close to Bama or LSU this year.

Nope. He's still incorrect. I said AJ has a better completion percentage, which, as your link indicates. He does.

His post was about Passer Efficiency, you tried to change it to completion % and as everyone knows Passer Efficiency is how you grade a quarterback.
Lee is the better QB.

Here you go dumbass.

AJ is ranked third among SEC QBs, behind Wilson & Murray.

Ok, JL is ranked higher nationally. The ONLY reason why is because he's thrown 3 more TDs than AJ and has two fewer INTs and has been sacked fewer times ( a credit to your O line). AJ has a better completion percentage, has more yards per completion, has thrown for more total yardage, and has a longer single completion. Now I know it's difficult for a tool like you to think for yourself, but how can you look at the numbers and say JL is better when it comes to pass efficiency?

Also, if you'll notice, I also included RB's in my post. And one of your fellow coonasses said LSU has more depth at that position too. Yet no one has bothered to challenge the RB #'s I provided.

Contrary to what you think, we have plenty of depth. We just haven't had to play that many because half of our starters havent been arrested because they aren't thugs and crackheads.

Because his passer rating is higher against better competition? Duh?

LSU has the same amount of TDs as Arkansas, a pass-first team, with 124 fewer attempts. Pretty good I'd say. I'm not saying our passing offense is any better or game changing.. just that when we pass, we get results.

What does this have to do with anything though? It's not like passing efficiency vs teams with okay defenses matters. What matters is which team executes the best in the face of another elite team.

you fricking gump arse tard, the question was not who has the BETTER qb, it was which team had more DEPTH at the position.

lsu has 2, bama 1, end of debate

the fact that you even bring up sims as jj's equal is so laughable it makes me think you are really just trolling.

ETA: lee > aj , but that doesnt matter for THIS discussion
