They’re gonna score 95 after shooting 20 FTs in the last three minutes. Why anyone would watch this abortion is beyond me

Almost every college basketball game ends in a foul fest. I don't think it's unique to Alabama.
NBA players actually are willing to just surrender when they're down by 11 points with 5 seconds to go. College players will usually keep on fouling in that situation. If you've done any CBB betting, it's almost certain that you've suffered the aggravation of losing a bet on an 11.5 point underdog because they seriously fouled while down by 11 points with less than 5 seconds to go and ended up losing by 13.
