re: Why does A&M think they are the only school with rich donors?

This. What else can they bring up? Their last conference title from the 90s? Their last national title from the 30s? About all the good their money has done for their football program is fund mass production of plastic cups to celebrate a regular season win.

Look at their endowment vs yours. Then you'll know.

Could not disagree more, I don't know anyone that I went to school with that donates to the university. I paid my tuition and that was enough for me.
I think it's the same as most schools; 90% of the money comes from 10% of the donors.

Yes, it's clear you know every student who was on campus the same time you were...all 50,000+.

You should start by providing proof that only 2% of A&M cadets take a commission into the military.

A&M does have a disproportionately high amount of former students that donate, congrats on not supporting your school I guess? We are not the highest in the country percentage wise, that would be some smaller private schools that live and die on donations. The differentiator for A&M is the size of the school combined with the proportion of those that give back. It's especially high for folks that were in the Corps.
BTW, virtually all of my Aggie friends give back to the school either academically or athletically or both.

Texas laughs. They own the state of Texas, they have showed me the receipt

The PUF money is shared by virtually all of the UT System schools plus Southwest Medical and Memorial Hermann. That's why UTD, UTSA, etc have gotten so big in recent years and they are building like crazy. Texas is building up those schools to be more like the UC System with Texas being Berkeley.
A&M only has to share with Prairie View, Galveston, and Tarleton which are all small. Almost all of the money is in College Station. The other satellite A&M campuses (Corpus, Kingsville, etc.) don't qualify for PUF money.

Do you know the number of logical fallacies in your OP?

Exactly. They definitely do have a larger system endowment. And as noted, that has nothing to do with football.
There may be some Aggies who act like A&M is the only one with rich donors, but that doesn't apply to all Aggies. Not by a long shot. A lot of schools have rich donors.
Don't get me wrong. Having them can be good. But you are going to have something/someone
And regarding the posts by Randolph, those who know, understand his situation. Poor thing. If only there was someone in his life who cared enough to get him the help he desperately needs.

Haven’t heard that one yet, robotic coonass. Really working both moving parts in your brain, I see.

Texas A & M was only a play away from finishing last in the SEC west

Interesting… Now that’s using your brain. Good work. I bet you’re tired now.

I'm sorry you're so mad about the truth that you resort to insults. Maybe you should join the rest of the Aggie brain trust to analyze years past to determine some more fake championships to claim.

That’s an incredibly naive statement. Of course NIL will determine SEC pecking order. Look at the destruction to college programs early NFL departure has brought to college football. So 5* players will be flocking to the highest bidder. Everything will be determined by having an ultra talented 5 * playing as a sophomore instead of a coached senior.
NIL deals are coming from all over, though. Elite players are getting deals from big corporations and businesses without affiliations to Universities or the towns that surround them, not from boosters affiliated with a school. For instance, Derek Stingley got a deal with American Airlines. DJ Uiagalelei got a deal with Dr Pepper. Bryce Young has several deals from corporations completely unaffiliated with Alabama. NIL for those types of players are going to be not much different than pro athletes signing endorsement deals.

None of that has jack to do with football though. Not a penny of that goes to athletics by law.
Bingo. When people bring endowment wealth into conversations about athletic budgets, I just laugh

How many kick off returns for touchdowns did Texas A & M have this year? Texas A & M needs to compare themselves to State not Bama.
