Yes, we're stil racist. Yes, you're even more racist.

Actually honestly these days I don't know. Y'all are pretty damn SJW now and your traditions are meaningless. Generic wannabe west coast college complete with soviet architecture. I never thought I'd see a gay pride aggie flag being openly flown (y'all are on the DL), but those days are here.

The day we name a building after a founder of the KKK is the day you can call us more racist that Klanhorn.

Until then:

How do you reconcile this with the lived experiences of the racial minorities that lived in College Station up until the 2000s?

This is what you'd expect out of UT Austin though. This is where we've always been. It's just recently that y'all have came outta the closet and been full on homos.

I imagine a lot of it has to do with the racism that was rampant in College Station back when those guys played

Sounds like you got it all figured out. Actually seems like you knew the answer to the question you posed in your own thread title. Well done. Pretty amazing that Kevin Murray was evidently subjected to a lot of racism at A&M yet still allowed his son to go to A&M. Sounds perfectly legit reasoning on your part.

Oh no, it was just one theory. Or it could be part of a bigger theory that just includes racism as one prong.

The Klan was still a prominent organization in College Station up until around 9-11.

Honestly, go away. You’re trying way too hard.

Until we have to officially put up with your shite, it’s better for all involved if you don’t spread it around.

That's funny. I graduated A&M before 9-11 and never saw that.

Oh, and a building was still named after KKK founder, William Stewart Simkins until 2011 or 2012.
