No disrespect but I could care less if other SEC fans pull for Bama or not. Being hated by opposing fans comes with the territory of winning a bunch. Shoot, it's like a badge of honor and a sign of success. Bama being hated means they're doing something right and to tell you the truth. Other fans wish their favorite team was hated like Bama is right now. Especially Tennessee fans, they long for that day!

Bottom line, Bama is one of the most hated teams in the country. As a Bama alum, I LOVE it.

well yes, clearly, and they always have been, just like Notre Dame and USC are by non-fans. Teams with the success of Alabama will always be universally hated for the most part. It's just odd that some fans, not all, will try to convince others why they should root for conference teams, when really they should just be happy with the fact that the reason people don't root for Alabama is because of the success they've had over the years.

They are insecure people. They base their lives worth off of the success of a football team. They try and relive their lives through that football team because they have never accomplished anything themselves. Sad really.

90% of your fanbase fits the description that I gave to a tee. It's human nature and only natural that a people in such a poor, uneducated, backwards state would cling to something that has had success. And oh by the way, Walmarks is stocking up!
