See this is a real talking point but on most boards across the country they felt it was fine the Buckeyes jumped the Nitters after the fact because the media sold them that position. We used too have a few solid Penn State posters on here and Alabama has a long history with them. Problem is the media overshadows group thought now instead of parents to kids.

When I was younger I discussed Tulane and Georgia Tech at the dinner table with Grampy and Daddyo (it was a 50's term for your dad for the younger folks on here) and they knew their stuff. Now kids ignore their parents and let Twitter and ESPN make up their mind for them. I was fortunate to be able to speak to Rupp and Bryant person to person and not relying on police lines, donor dinners, and media interviews to know what they might be thinking.

I feel blessed to grow up in the SEC of that era as it really was a special place and time.

if there was an ACC rant, and you and other SEC team fans posted there, i wouldn't biatch about it.

seem like every topic on here with Clemson in title gets a lot of replies. if you want to see less Clemson people, then stop posting on a Clemson topic. you just helping to keep it at top of the forum.

no i wouldn't, i'm a free speech person and i don't make a big deal out of conference. that is a unique thing for some SEC team fans.

i will be rooting for UNC to lose tonight. Many SEC fans would consider this an act of treason.

On a hunch, I typed this into google maps, then proceeded to click down the street of the location it provided me. From there I asked jeeves to find any similarities between Tilman and Clemson.

I then used a modified AOL search to filter all of those results with treeless campuses that lacked sidewalks.

Here is what the results turned up

this makes no sense, how did u even come up with it.

are you saying Clemson campus is treeless and has no sidewalks.

similiarities b/t Tillman the building and Clemson the university?

i'm confused.

You know, one of you enterprising taters should spend a little less time and energy posting here and create ACCRant.com. Everyone would be much happier and you might make a little money on the side to boot.....

I don't think there are enough ACC homer's out there to support such a board.

When you typically hear someone beat their chest praising the ACC, I'll wager it is in the realm of competing with an SEC school and not a competition against any of the other P5 schools.

My point is that it is more of an Anti-SEC dig than any conference love.

The SEC on the other hand is cult like...not the Jim Jones drink the Kool-Aid think but out there a bit

I keep telling you from actual experience that most of it is genuine and based on the early days of sports when the rest of the country talked down to us. IVY eventually gave up sports but the B1G has always felt superior and lash back when they are proven wrong. Keep in mind it was Centre in the old SIAA that beat Harvard same as State beat Uconn. It is listed as one of the greatest upsets of all time (like State vs Uconn) because media outside the SIAA / SEC followed the "underdog" and never considered doing actual research to find they were actually good.

Gonzaga winning would make it the first team to win it in a long time that has not won a previous title.

i'd like to see that.

that gives hope to the CLemsons out there. lol
