Because they figured out their players cared so little about LSU that they quit and they were the worst team in the SEC
Bama fans have reached rock bottom. They haven't won a National Championship in football since 2017

Plus, teams were at different levels of rediness. Some missing more players than others, and never at full strength due to the silly Covid protocols.
Saban had no issue with it despite being a Covid Karen himself

You would have a point if Ohio State had won, they didn't.

Bama played the elven best teams in the SEC not named Alabama. They played ND and OSU, two blue bloods, in the playoffs.
Again, if LSU had won it you would be claiming back to back champs. This makes you a hypocrite.
Only a small minority of college football fans (Bama haters) claim it doesn't count. Get over yourselves. Sorry but you're opinion doesn't really count. Don't believe me, look at the CFP championships list. No asterisk by Bama's title.

Bama hasn't won a NC since 2017. Rough times for you guys. We have the goat season in 2019 and baseball and baseball national titles since then

I recognize the champion because it’s a SEC team. 10 conference games is legit.
you also guaranteed LSU would win the last 5 years game opener. You don't know what you're talking about.
7 of those 10 teams had a losing record and none of their players played because of the sniffles. Not a real season.

It was real enough to get Cousin Eddie fired.
Everyone here knows if LSU had managed to repeat in 2020, you'd be crowing about back to back championships.
But it's not in LSU's culture to be able to do such a thing. Your entire history has had a lot of quit in it.

According to you. According the official CFP site Alabama listed as the Champs. So I have your opinion vs the Official CFP Standings. I, and damn near every college football fan, will choose the Official CFP rankings to your opinion.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. No one is entitled to their own reality.

‘Nother example of bama bragging about beating a team that they deemed, horrible.
Talking out of two sides…..again.
LSU averages a minimum of 3 losses a year since 2011. You haven't been a big win in a long arse time unless you want to count the unwarranted LSU hype where they still pretend you are a contender every year for views/clicks.
I don't give a shite how good LSU is. You should have fielded a better team.

You're fricking retarded because all SEC conference records equal out to .500 by default.
Add 3 cupcake games to those teams like a normal season and then tell me how many would still have a losing record. Hint: It's no different than any other year.
Still waiting for an LSU fan to say something not completely fricking stupid. Learning 8th grade math first would be helpful.

Beating teams by 3, 5 and 7 is not what the GOAT does. There are 2 sides to the ball and LSU was only great in one of them.
1995 Nebraska > 2020 Alabama > 2019 LSU.

6-0 Ohio St is a more difficult opponent. Less games = less injuries than a normal season and more importantly it means there is less footage of them against quality teams for game planning against them.
Meanwhile, Ohio St had the benefit of watching Alabama play 11 SEC teams to see where good teams had success.
Kind of like how Clemson had success against Alabama int he NCG where they won 44-16 because the Miss St game Alabama played gave Clemson tape on how to stop that offense.
But I guess for people with pea brains you can just see 6 is less than 11 and that must mean something right?
All because you can't admit LSU had a shitty culture under O and your team had no idea how to handle the success of 2019.

People play in games that don't count against their eligibility every year.

What if I don't consider any championships won during COVID, in either college or professional sports, "real" championships?
Technically, in the history books, those teams that won are champions, but not in the same context as all other champions, IMO.
LSU sucked during COVID and doesn't impact how I view all those champions, at all. Bama was legit in 2020 and beat everyone in front of them, but getting to play on the road in empty college stadiums is not the same as there was no longer any true homefield advantages.
Lebron and the Lakers got to win a championship in a shortened season in a bubble, which allowed AD and Lebron to stay healthy.
MS State got to win a CWS after essentially NC State's entire team got sent home due to COVID protocols.
Tom Brady got to play the Saints in a playoff game in an empty Superdome in Drew Brees' final game on way to a super bowl.
Dodgers got to win a World Series in a bubble playing in a half empty stadium in Dallas.

Yeah, it really sucks talking about how Alabama dominated everyone in 2020 immediately showing up 2019 LSU while knowing the only way LSU fans can remotely cope with the fact is to pretend it didn't count.
I absolutely hate it and wish it would end. LSU fans are so mean.

How many of the 38 points Alabama won by do you think the crowd would have made up for?
Or surely there must be some other game Alabama played that season where you feel the crowd made a difference.
The 19 points Missouri lost by?
Is the 15 points Ole Miss lost by?
Can't be Tennessee who lost by 31 can it?
Arkansas who lost by 49?
Which one of these games do you think the lack of a crowd gave Alabama a win.
Anymore stupid shite you want to claim?
