Alabama backed off and Alabama did not sue the SEC. Alabama did not go recruiting pro players. Alabama opened the door for Bediako and they slammed it shut again. LSU is taking this much much farther.

Thats a lot of words to say you have no clue what you're talking about. Should have sat this one out.

The answer is actually pretty simple. The SEC at that point had not issued a league wide rule about roster former players. Sankey was vocal about opposing the Bediako situation, but there was a tRO and precedent with players from other leagues. When the court ruled against Bediako, Oats didn’t continue to hold a spot for him and encourage him to further Ssue. He also didn’t make public comments that made the conference look bad.

How so? It's only natural that he would think his best chance to come back is to the school he left. Now the players LSU allegedly recruited are actually from a different school, correct? So they're had to be some contact between their former head coach who was now at a different school. Not quite the same.

Different school same coach. You’re trying to point out a minor detail that doesn’t matter. Both of those schools recruited said player. One of the Ole Miss players actually said Ole Miss reached out as well. So add them to the list. But if anything Bama’s scenario is the exact same. Only difference is Bama went even further and played him without Authority. So Bama’s is slightly worse.

Bediako got a TRO against the NCAA and was allowed to play accordingly. Once the TRO was revoked, he was no longer eligible. Plus, Bama's head coach had the wherewithal to not diss the SEC commish. Not so much for your boy, Lane.
