I always find the academic side of this stuff really funny, 5 years after you graduate no one gives a shite..it is like HS...get a job, perform..accelerate faster than the non social nerd

Boren was the only reason. Everybody said for years the two schools were tied together legally. That was never the case

Not a good reason but I believe Boren wanted to tie the university to her academics of the pac or big 10.

Also didn’t want to lose the OU / TX game.
