Yeah Minnesota got blown out today, but based on merit I think they were in before today. In the end, Minnesota had wins over a 5, 4, 2, 4, and 5 seed. Something MSU couldn't come close to. Then again, based on seeding, I don't Minnesota was one of the teams MSU was competing with for the last few bids.

You can thank LSU and the other shitty schools this year in SEC play. I feel the committee had no respect for the SEC and that affected their decisions on bubble teams from the conference.
