So...is there another letter you suggest they use??

And none of them match the pattern that Bama claims as their own. I guess the others wouldn't look good on a fat womans mini and cowboy boots.

Doesn't, but I think it is funny how people think they invented houndstooth:

Nope.
Texas retained the rights for the “Block T” they had been using prior to 1900, Vol Football HC Doug Dickey designed the “Power T” and it was introduced on the helmets in the late 60’s.
The designs are different and each individually trademarked.
The “interlocking UT” was the logo involved in the 1986 settlement between the Universities. UTK holds the trademark east of the Mississippi & UT-Austin holds it west.

Nope...just something more distinguishable from an already established trademarked symbol. Maybe like sticking with the taller, thinner "T" they had already established.

Even the stupid article you linked fails to suggest that.

You are really splitting hairs here. I can’t imagine being worked up over a letter.

Why reference it in the leading news publication in the state if there are not people who try to connect the dots. It would be like Ark newspapers referencing any Porky Pig connection to UA or TX newspapers referencing any gays as a A&M connection.

If you ever get confused just remember that Bama's logo has the mullet.

And incorrect.. Texas held copyrights on Block T & the Interlock UT (Tennessee went for TM/copyrights on items Texas didn’t list such as toilet seats that led to the settlement E/W of MS River).

The crossbar on the A’s aren’t even the same.
