Of course Steele is a downgrade. I'll give him a chance before I completely bash him though. Our program needed some new energy pumped into it. It's been pretty stagnant since 2011. And Chavis had his faults.
I was kinda glad to see Chavis go (although I didn't think he was gonna,) but we could've hired someone more proven than Steele.

I see plenty of Aggy posts, and I responded to it. I assume they aren't on the side of "this is a standard legal dispute and it would be stupid for LSU to just leave Aggy alone."

LSU is moving to dismiss Chavis' suit as Texas is not the proper venue for the contract in question. Plus, and there is no confirmation on this, if there is a venue clause, guess where any contract dispute goes to trial? Guess Chavis and his legal team better get their stuff packed and head East.
