Every year they are going to sign a handful of 5 stars and some 4 stars who were promised they'd get to play. At the end of the season...other teams will come calling when they see they didn't get enough playing time and offer some cash.
So in the end...you threw away a ton of time and money signing those 5 and 4 stars if you are just going to let them walk at the end of their freshmen season.
