Or, he was running away from Urbz, knowing he'd never see another Rose Bowl.

As I said before, he probnbly pictures himself as another Saban, who left Michigan St. and went to LSU to build up their recruiting program.

Arkansas doesn't have Louisiana's talent base, but with Texas and Louisiana as border states, the talent base is right there for Arkansas to compete for.

Saban realized a greater oportunity at LSU and Bielema can see a high paying oportunity at Arkansas.

The rate at which pay has increased for coaches in the SEC over the last 10 years is ridiculous.

He wanted to go to a program where mediocrity is rewarded.

Texas and Louisiana are great, but we have to keep our east Oklahoma pipeline going...then hit Texas a bit harder.

Louisiana is great, but they're much like Arkansas in that, if a kid gets an offer from the in state SEC school, 90% of the time that is where they're going.

I think if they ramp it up in Texas, continue to pull star power from south Florida with Randy Shannon and others, these guys will get some good classes.

If we could achieve mediocrity in our secondary education system, we could virtually eliminate poverty in this country.

Art Briles would've built Arkansas into a powerhouse program.

Thankfully, Coach Briles turned down the Arky job,

I agree with this. No worries he will be a Longhorn after this season.

Well we politely declined his offer. Something better came along.

Houston Nutt, I always like it when we have a coach who curses and drinks.

Who told you Nutt does neither?
