Doesn't matter to me either way.
On topic, I'm sure Gus will pan out fine, he's just unproven as of now. He does need an elite QB to get to the top, I believe.
As far as 2B's, he's a good coach, everyone knows that. Is he good enough to get us to the top with the kind of recruits we traditionally bring in? I doubt it, but I expect him to step it up in that area.

When was the last time Les won one?
Les alone has won more bowls games at LSU since 2005 then 8 different Arkansas coaches have won since 1986

Bielema left for Arkansas because they gave him a great 6 year contract with the aim of recruiting Texas like no other Arkansas coach has since coming to the SEC.
Bielema probably pictures hinmself as another Nick Saban coming to the SEC and has 4 to 6 years to build Arkansas's recruiting program up enough to challange for division titles.

Or, he was running away from Urbz, knowing he'd never see another Rose Bowl.

quote:Wait, so you're blaming the 8-5 record on the OC as a negative but don't give him credit for the National Championship win?
Well, Malazahn has yet to be the HC in a bowl game, so you're going to have to wait a couple years before you can downplay the BBVDA Compass Bowl.
Sweet logic bro. Very objective.

Makes sense.

I give Malazahn credit for that NC win.....Chizik was a goddamn buffoon....but give the Def Coor. creds too for limiting 46 pts a game Oregon offense to only 19 pts.

Obviously the best way to escape competing against a good coach with a good team would be to join the SEC.

Did you really quote this shite to make it seem like Bielema turned down AU for it's HC position?
You know damn well he did. Pathetic.
