I, as a State fan, resent that. We know how to lose too.

We're the best at handling losses though. No doubt.
Worst than being a Bama fan must be becoming emotionally-invested into a team that is never successful. Ouch.

Nothing says loser quite like that post. Excuses, lose them. Man up.
What happened to all of the enthusiasm and testosterone from early weeks of this season? I guess the biggest positive is that the season is really short, if that's what you like. So when you post here outside of Saturday, or September-November, what should we conclude?
Are you guys just copying and pasting straight from the textbook?

Wow.

This is the most sensible thing I've ever seen you post. Not only am I impressed, I'm shocked (mostly because I agree)!
You still suck though!!

quote:I don't think so. Yall weren't that bad during the 90s, even the 2000s, until you got coach O. We only had 74 wins from 1997-2007, less if you count the vacations. Ole Miss has won 143 games since 1990.
Y'all probably had more wins in that decade than Ole Miss has had since 1990.

So since we are great at football historically, we are bad fans. Name one fan base that wouldn't celebrate the kind of success we've had.

That sounds pretty successful to me

Your team's constant success on the field coupled with you being unable to separate life and game causes you to make statements like this to other people that you don't even know.
You're a loser in terms of being a football fan. You could be a multi-millionaire for all I know and very successful in life. But your OP wreaks of being a loser fan. Sorry. That's just how I see it.

TL;DR means you didn't read the post. if you didn't read the post but still feel its telling you something, perhaps you felt this something before you attempted and failed to read the post.

And speaking of gifs, Dr. Bones McCoy was also a graduate of Ole Miss.

Loser fans exist? Don't we all just sit on our arse and hope for the best?
C'mon man. Your emotional investment into Bama football does nothing for the football team or you, for that matter.
Find something else to do on Saturdays and see if you get a letter in the mail from Bama wondering where you've been.

"You can't tell me being an Ole Miss fan sucks worse than being a Bama fan and I just told you why."
------------------------------------------------
This statement says it all about your opinion. Apparently being a fan of anything/team/one,etc. sucks, but it's just a matter of which sucks the most. I'd have to consider that a defeatist's attitude. I enjoy the excitement around being a fan of a big-time, powerhouse athletic program, and I'm pretty sure that if you're REALLY an Ole Miss fan, a few years of top-10 finishes would make you just a little more "rabid".

Your emotional investment in this thread does nothing for your loser mentality.

That's not what the OP was about. He never stated anything about not celebrating y'all's success.

So, you know how it feels then, since UM has never been successful in your life time.

Yeah...it really does do something for me. When you come from a shitty state like Alabama, where everything tends to rank right near the bottom, it's nice to see someone from your state representing by kicking arse and winning championships. I have state pride and The University of Alabama football team helps fuel it in ways other things cannot.

I don't really know what this is supposed to mean, but I am no sidewalk fan if that's what you're implying. I graduated with a degree from UA.
