Yea. My argument in this thread starts after WWII ended. That following season, 1946. Another person brought up the AP poll era, which would have started in the 1930's.

I agree. I've seen several LSU fans on here play the timeframe game, many times. All fanbases do it, but not everyone in the fanbase does it.

Getting back to the topic of the thread... it was obvious on the aforementioned drive that we were imposing our will on LSU and there was just nothing they could do to stop it. Even the LSU fan across the aisle from me saw and admitted it.

STFU. I'm a Hogs fan doesn't mean I have to hate every other sport base out there. Keep your arguing about how good we have been. We have one title, which many don't want us to have (looking at you Bama).

Petrino is also the guy who recently said that the goal for Arkansas was to get to the BCS National Championship Game so they could draw one of those slow teams from up North and win.
Doesn't he remember that they drew one of those teams in January and shamed the entire conference by getting their butts whipped? Hog hats, calling pigs, Bubba Hog, losing to the Big Ten....they're just an embarrassment to the SEC.

This is getting really pathetic on your part. Yes you beat us last year and we were ranked higher than you once again in the final polls. You can distill all the facts and schedules you want but it boils down to this- Ask any fan in the nation who has a better program historically or currently and watch your spirits drop. Until you can live with that and finish a season right this will be the way of the world with little input from you.

You know, this argument starts in 1946 and ends in 1999.
Arkansas had 13 top 10 finishes during that time, while LSU only had 9.
Is it really that hard for most LSU fans to grasp the fact that Arkansas was in fact a better program for 50+ years, up until the year 2000? LSU made a great hire with Saban, as Arkansas just has with Petrino.

He said it in LR yesterday or the day before, whenever that was. I think he meant it more tongue and cheek though.
