I have to agree w/ Catfan here; it's a matter of what appeals. I personally prefer NOLA to Atlanta - but everyone has a right to their opinion

Why so many Kentucky fans?
1. Each one is an honorary self-appointed assistant coach and will formulate an excellent game plan for Cal.
Seriously, Cats fans do love to watch their competition.
Hope everyone enjoys the game tomorrow!

Apparently the only Kentucky fans you've seen are the blue hairs in the lower bowl of Rupp during a televised game.

they are evidently more fun than lsu fans...a basketball game only lasts about 2 hours, you can have sports & fun in new orleans too..

They were the only ones there earlier today. It looked like a damn nursing home got cleared out inside the arena.

Judging from the Bourbon Street cam, all of the younger fans were there drinking. Even more out now. Almost no other teams fans there.

New Orleans>>>>>>>>>Atlanta
No.
New Orleans is better because its atmosphere. It is just different down there. There are a lot of fun things to do there besides Bourbon St.
Yeah Atlanta is nice. You have shopping, Six Flags, Football, Baseball, Coke Museum, etc. But you could go to Dallas,TX and get pretty much the same things. Same can be said for any big city like that.
I live in Georgia and I'd much rather go to New Orleans than Atlanta.

This argument ended a long time ago. It's better to just leave it alone.

Charleston is better than both anyways.

I think everyone can disagree with that.

fwiw I wasn't trying to be argumentative or whatever. I've been going to Atl since I was a little kid, just haven't seen much of it outside of Philips Arena and Turner Field.

If you can't find anything to do in New Orleans, then you are doing it wrong. Bourbon Street is awful by the way.
If you are searching for food courts and CNN Centers, Atlanta may be the place for you. However, if you are looking for awesome food, music and culture, New Orleans wins.

They are basketball fans. They'd probably go see a high school tournament if they weren't able to get to NOLA this weekend. Let them enjoy themselves.
We've got Texas Aggies (Yes that's what they call themselves. They are not Texas A&M Aggies, just Texas Aggies.) to worry about.
