You have your opinion and I have mine. I'll stick with ATL.

I'm pretty sure you have no clue what you are talking about. The superdome has been redone and is quite nice. Only a woman would actually prefer Atlanta to new Orleans. That is so off it's really not even worth addressing, even though I did.

Turner Field+GA Dome. The Kentucky fan probably loves ATL because they think the Dome is the biggest basketball arena ever and doesn't understand it's meant for football.
And hol-e-shite at Atlanta being so much safer and walking thru the worst of it instead of most of NOLA. Give that a shot Cat.

I'm pretty sure I do. There are a lot of guys who prefer Atlanta.
The Georgia Dome >>> The Superdome. Phillips Arena >>> New Orleans Arena. Turner Field >>> Oh wait.

Also her saying she doesn't like the food is basically saying I don't like excellent food. I'd rather just eat burger king.

The Georgia dome is not nicer than the superdome. Not anymore.

I like football better than basketball, so you're completely off base on that.

Check out the difference in crime rates. They speak for themselves.

Just because you, and people from there, think it's so great doesn't mean that everyone agrees with you. You people get so defensive if someone doesn't absolutely love the place.

LOL, just sounds like you've never been anywhere other than downtown New orleans, french Quarter.

It's like top 3 tourist destination in the country. If you don't like it fine. It just makes you wrong and foolish looking but by all means ....
And had you said I prefer NYC, ok. But Atlanta. That's just absurd.

Why are there Kentucky fans in NOLA Arena?
Because they use all of their jobs vacation days every year at this tournament and feel more justified by making such a poor choice if they go to all the games.

Truth. NOLA isn't even in my top 20.

on the atl vs. n.o. debate...
i've traveled all over the u.s. & europe...
atlanta is a great town..i'm from alabama, spent a lot of time in the atl..it's a very cool, but very spread out town. lots to do, great restaurants, bars, clubs..
but...new orleans is the most unique town in the u.s. it's still a small town. but, it's featured in every food/lifestyle/shelter mag for it's beauty AND hip food/living culture.
there really is not another city in the states like n.o. it has a very european feel, very bohemian with a little uptight, classic southern thrown in the mix.
you can walk new orleans...the quarter, the garden district, the cbd and share the street with tourists, business people, hookers, attorneys, college students all walking to their various work places or lunch/dinner venues.
it's a real town.
atlanta is great, but it, has sadly, become a town of upper class transients.
they are both fun, exciting places...but new orleans would be my choice for a visit.
