That’s not possible with NIL contracts. It takes months to write them. So the truth is things aren’t as fluid as they used to be.

They are the most entitled fanbase I’ve seen. Sark is an implosion waiting to happen. He still has the shine from Saban reformation camp but it will wear off.

There is something to be said about this, not just Texas, but other big game hunting schools with a large NIL war chest. My instinct wrt Texas and Sarkisian's recruiting philosophy is that Texas corts the recruits with all good faith, intent, and integrity. Some commit and stay committed. Some don't commit and move on, and that's OK. Some work the commit, decommit and go for more dollars, and that's OK too.
Sarkisian reevaluates his current class a month or so prior to signing period for open positions of need. During this time is when the flip season truly begins. I believe you'll see that Texas will continue slowly building up ranking into the 9-13 rankings (#19 currently). During the last few weeks, after the 2024 season is almost played out, the NIL money that has been held back for positions of need will come out onto the table. Final, last chance recruiting begins.
This is all conjecture and guessing, but seems like what has been happening recently in my pea brain.
