No I meant McKinley
No you didn't. McKinley was never committed to us and you were talking about the transfer portal.
Congrats on draining nearly your entire budget on Williams, I am sure the return will be worth it.

McKinley would not see the field in 2024, so how exactly would that remove the need for a portal DT who will be here for one year?

That worked great for Mack.

One year ago this week, Rivals and 247 had Texas' class ranked 29th. We finished with the 5th ranked class. We'll be ok, but your concern is certainly appreciated.

BunnyFeet speaks the truth. There go those pesky facts again.
Another fact: once we start bulldozing through the SEC on the field, the best players in the country will be begging for a spot on Sark’s roster.

Most kids stick with their commitment. It’s just not statistically true.

I seem to remember Moore being committed to LSU…

Of the players you missed out on, the odds are maybe you flip 1 or maybe 2.

There are more decommitments from those that verbal really early on in the process.

It’ll be 2+ kids. The only ones we don’t have a shot at flipping are the 2 DL commits that went LSU over the last week. No shot we flip those from Bo.

UW fans were always talking about the year of the flip under Sark. Lol
Posted on 7/6/24 at 7:37 pm to bisonduck
NIL wasn’t a thing when Sark was at UW.
But since we’re talking about things that never happened, I’ve heard a lot of Oregon fans over the years talk about winning national championships.

“It’s the year of the flip” - Steve Sarkisian
As a west coast football fan, I cannot take him seriously. I have heard so many stories about him on the recruiting trail.
That dude is as magoo as they come.
Dan Lanning is cock slapping him on the trail, and I am here for it.

Very cool story

Phil is buying a championship before Oregon becomes irrelevant again
Yes, agreed.

Oregon hasn’t been irrelevant in 4 decades.
Phil endowed the university with over a billion dollars in the last 10 years.
Oregon is here. We are outside, as they say.

O stands for zero lol. But not sure why other fan bases think he won’t leave Oregon sports with a steady trust of billions for decades to come. He loves track and field and fb more than his own kids.

It will be interesting to see what happens there. I think it would’ve already happened if he was going to do it. Why wait.
Also good to see you back here Bird_Hunter
