we just lose SO MUCH on defense after this year.

We will lose 2 dl, 2 olb, and some average dbs.

Atkins on the DL is graduating and Trent could go pro.

Lorenzo, R. Carter and Bellamy are graduating and Roquan could go pro with a big year.

Both starting safeties and a starting CB will all graduate.

Sorry but those guys start for a reason, I know we'll have an infusion of young talent but you don't lose that much production and not skip a beat unless you're bama. Our 18 defense is going to take some time to find its legs.

The guy making the biggest plays was actually Cleveland.

I didn't watch every UF game so maybe cleveland made some clutch plays, but I find it hard to believe that he would be the better player based on the below.

Calloway: 54 catches, 721 yards, 3 TDs

Cleveland: 14 catches, 298 yards, 2 TDs

Not sure where you got the impression I forgot that. As I said, I'm hopeful he can get better considering it was only his first season.

That doesn't magically make his mistakes from last year disappear though.

Don't see Roquan going pro at his size and consider Patrick a starter over Reggie Carter. None of the 3 Dbs we will lose are better than average imo. They only start because of richts poor recruiting.

far worse players than him have left early.

Reggie is still a senior that has played major minutes over his career that won't be back in 18.

I'll maaaybe give you aaron davis but parish and especially dom sanders are certainly better than average. And if they're as ho hum as you suggest why haven't they been beat out? They will all start this year (davis may get beat out but MP and DS for sure will) which means we'll go into '18 with freshmen and sophomores mannign those spots. I don't care how much more talented they are, there's going to be a learning curve.

Guess again? We actually didn't have a single senior on the offensive side of the ball outside of McGee and maybe one offensive lineman.

What does the 2016 NFL draft say about uf and what will the 2017 draft say about uga? I bet It says you are wrong.

Congrats on being lucky by getting the 2003 and 2007 opportunities.

So...an underclassman?

Dude. You didn't say he was an underclassman. You said he was a freshman. And he will be a Junior in the coming year. That does nor constitute an underclassman.
Seriously? You didn't know this basic information about your best offensive player?

quote:

Cameron Dillard was injured and never saw the field after the Arkansas game the entire year.

Hence 4 underclassmen on the line with our RG playing Center.

Again. You played Arkansas in your 9th game. NINE games. Don't act like you were hamstrung the entire year and had to start freshmen.

quote:

Both suffered season ending injuries.

So, in your world if you start one game, then you were starting freshmen at those positions?

quote:

Actually, McMillan played CB against a few teams because we didn't have a backup at the position, because several of our CBs were playing Safety because both of our safeties were injured.

Again. You were not starting LBs at CB. You starters at CB were upperclassmen and not LBs. If you want to act like Tabor and Wilson were not your normal starters you are being dishonest. Crap. You really need to stop sandbagging.

quote:

Hyuk, Hyuk. Now you look really stupid. Like I said: Callaway is good, but drops a lot of passes and is targeted way more.

No. You didn't. You said your best receiver was a freshman. You are the one looking stupid. Should I pull your direct quote?
Ok. here is your direct quote:
Our top receiver is a freshman.

Now who looks stupid?

quote:

Cleveland is probably our best receiver going forward outside of the stats, who makes the more clutch plays and is more consistent.

So. What you are saying is Callaway has better stats, but is not your best receiver? Callaway does better, produces more, but he is not you best receiver. Interesting take.

quote:

Furthermore: Yet again, like I said, our best receivers were underclassman.

And again. here is your quote:
Our top receiver is a freshman.

Don't you just hate it when facts in in the way of a good lie?

Takes plenty of luck. Y'all had 2 shots at us in 03 and lost both. We curbed stomped y'all in the seccg.

Uga 2002 had an identical season to lsu 2003. Why didn't we get the same shot?

LSU is lucky they miraculously jumped UGA in 2007, and played UT in SECCG. UGA would've murdered that team.

Magic will have nothing to do with it.

Rookie HC and QB getting over learning curves will be a large difference maker by itself.
Add in more talent and another offseason of doing things Smarts way rather than the Richt summer camp way will pay large dividends. Combine that with the shrinking talent levels at every other Eastern School and you have a recipe for success.

Will they win the SEC? Probably not. They should however be improved enough to beat the hell out of the ones that they should beat, and close the gap on UF & UT.

Correct. The only one with a decent recruit ranking was Isaiah Wynn (all if this banter is about recruiting talent on the roster, right?). Wynn is undersized for a LG, and it shows when we face NFL sized DTs. The line in 2017 won't be much better. At least there is no solid argument (yet) that they will be better other than they are different players starting at 4 positions on the OL.

We beat LSU when we were hamstrung, you lost to Vandy.

We literally had 5 of our top defensive players (which equates to almost half) out for that game.

I said they played, not started.

''Actually, McMillan played CB.''

There's your problem, you Georgia boys can't fricking read.

Like I said: Callaway is good, but drops a lot of passes and is targeted way more. Cleveland is probably our best receiver going forward outside of the stats, who makes the more clutch plays and is more consistent.

He doesn't fumble as much, drop as much and actually made a game winning catch for us @LSU, so it's more of a personal opinion than one backed up by stats.

Can you read, x2?

Do you understand that even if he's not a Freshmen, our most productive players are underclassmen? So your whole little bitching and moaning doesn't work when we dominated you?

Again, sorry your new HC is horrible.
