They have conspiracy theories about the NCAA, ESPN, and the SEC being tied together

Not sure what they’re scared about.
Penn State’s situation was far worse and now look where they are.

Too be fair, JoPa died and it took a lot of wind out of the NCAA's sails. Maybe if CUM has a real heart attack it will cool off the same way. In the meantime, look for CUM to fake another heart problem and wind up in the ACC or PAC.

Same fan base that shite in their own coolers during a packed game vs Texas. Nothing should be surprising.

What are you talking about? They hit em pretty hard (no one in big time college football is getting the death penalty now days)
And they still attracted big name coaches to go there (BOB and then Franklin) and now they’re a top 10 team.

Initially
When JoPa dies and Franklin took the reigns the NCAA did a 180 and let them off at a greatly reduced penalty and now they are competitive again.

My neighbor, who other than being a Buckeye is a damn good dude, swears that this is just an attempt to bring down OSU. Urbz did'n do nuffin. They're the biggest brand in CFB with the biggest fanbase. People just want to see them fall.

I have chatted about this SEC/ESPN conspiracy and here is what they can not answer. ESPN is about ratings, and the Big 10 has more populated states, so there bias is naturally towards the Big 10 and Pac 12. SEC states are mostly rural, just not as big of a tv market and it makes no sense for espn to favor these states. In fact since the start of sec network, espn has been covering less sec on their main networks talk shows, such as college football live, and have been focusing more on Big 10 and Pac 12. This makes sense because they know the SEC is being covered in depth on one of their networks already.

No it isn’t.
The Big Ten and PAC 12 have Television contracts with fox.
All of their Marquee games as well as their conference title game is on Fox.
The SEC has its own channel that is owned by ESPN.

cbs not espn has the first choice of SEC games, so your argument doesn't hold water

To be fair, a little history lesson
For the 50's, 60's, and 70's the NCAA was a dictatorship run by a man who clearly favored the B1G and PAC. When the Sooners and Dawgs went to the Supreme Court the only 2 conferences (and we had many more back then) to not cross the line were B1G and PAC schools.
ESPN was started by a B1G alum (IU if memory serves) and was staffed early on by ACC grads.
Historically the NCAA and ESPN had their collective brown noses firmly up the B1G's backside. For them to not claim the opposite is pretty funny indeed.

Other than CBS game of the week and the conference title game it’s a Pro SEC network (for football season)
We are far and more covered on that channel than any other conference (during football season) and it’s not even close

A game that never should have happened, Michigan was clearly the 2nd best team in the country that year.

The terms of the Pac12 abc/Fox contract are not public but clearly espn does get 2nd choice of Pac 12 games, and ESPN owns the right to "essentially half" of the Big 10's games and Fox the other half. The games that are shown on the conference networks end up being the games nobody chooses and go there by default. CBS has first choice of SEC games, and conference games. Fox has Pac 12 and their ccg,and also the Big 10. ACCCG is on ABC, so espn onws the acc championship game, and will own the acc network. So if you wish to argue that espn favors the sec to help promote it network that will show such amazing games as Mizzou vs Vandy, then go ahead, but that argument is weak af.

I mean just from watching the network daily, you don’t see them touting us more than any conference?
