LSU/A&M is a slow burn rivalry when you zoom out on it. It has a very complex root structure.
They don't like to claim rivals, but they sure as shite hate losing to the Ags.
Take that for what you will.

Whatever helps you cope. Started the season #1 and will miss the postseason. Big oof. Enjoy your silly little bubble guns at home.

Because we don’t like A&M and can’t identify with them in any way
Posted on 5/24/25 at 12:15 am to Soonerd78
Because they were one of the best teams in SEC. Maybe not record wise , they were fighting for their college careers. You wouldn’t had beat them .
Posted on 5/24/25 at 12:18 am to SidewalkTiger
Yes. Because we couldn’t grasp one.
We didn’t have one so we just made our own. Lol.
Which I still think is hilarious and stupid at the same time.

It would have been legendary, if he would have won a natty there

It would have been. I cringe at the thought of the extension our retards at the AD would give him after that.
How fricking tone deaf do you have to be to create a gimmicky, dateless National Championship plaque when you haven’t won one in 86 years. Sharp is a fricking idiot.

Absolutely

I’m curious if this new A&M coach will be fired this year? Do you think he is good enough for a big program like A&M? I’m thinking they can do better. We know they will pay well.

Advice for anyone that has classic ticket stubs from pre-SEC A&M/LSU Football games: Keep sitting on them, if time allows of course.
They're going to keep going up in value.

Go ask Miss. St and Auburn fans who they feel after losing to these guys. It is baseball.
Posted on 5/24/25 at 2:34 am to AggieArchitect2004
Which sports have yall won a natty again the last 80 years? A natty is a “big deal” to us. So which games have yall won again that would be considered a “big game” to us?

Here’s the breakdown since OU is new to the SEC.
LSU doesn’t consider A&M rivals but A&M considers LSU rivals. I know this because I have many A&M friends. Ask any LSU fan and they will most likely say Ole Miss, Florida, and Bama. Ask A&M and they will say Texas and LSU.
Houston is the largest alumni base for LSU in the country and right next to A&M. All they do is chirp and chirp and chirp about sports. They claim to be nationally relevant nearly every year in the big 3 sports and they haven’t won shite since 1939
Couple all the above with their weird traditions, bubbles, yell leaders, and overall homosexuality, and you get an annoying fanbase who is constantly talking but never winning anything of importance.
LSU also smacked them around in football when they first joined the conference. It took them 7 or 8 years to finally beat LSU and when they did, it was the odd 74-72 7OT game with lots of questionable calls. We like to joke on the site about “so and so considers this their superbowl.” Well that was Aggie’s superbowl. They then proceeded to print cups and troll LSU. I’m sure one was added right next to Jimbo’s etched natty trophy that never came to fruition.
The next year, LSU beat them 50-7 and won the national championship
They’re just the local annoying gays you can’t really get rid of, think they’re hot shite, but just aren’t good at anything. It’s fun to watch them hype themselves up but constantly fail.
That’s the LSU/A&M “rivalry” in a nutshell. You have one school known nationally as a contender in football and baseball, and one nationally known as gay and weird.
So cheers, Faggies! 1939 lives on.

If LSU didn’t consider us a rival, they wouldn’t have been so emotional during and after the game. They would not having been crowing about beating Kentucky, for example.

It’s better than commenting about a loss when your team is sitting at home right now!

Oh yeah…”not a rival”.
