Who’s the Top Team in the SEC Right Now?

Georgia, Texas, Bama, Tennessee Ole Miss (in no order) seem to be the cream of the crop so far in this early season. We know this can change for a variety of reasons, but for now, out of those 5, who do you see going the distance and winning the SEC?
For now, I’m most impressed with Texas, Tennessee, and Bama.
Georgia struggled a bit today but plenty teams have that one team that always gives them trouble, Bama and Auburn, LSU and Arkansas, etc.
Out of the three listed, Tennessee is the only one who hasn’t had a difficult test yet.
For now, I think smart money’s on Texas, what do you think?

I disagree. Tennessee isn’t the only ones. We haven’t been tested by a talented team. And Wake gave us fits for a while. The win wasn’t in doubt but it was frustrating to watch. And next week won’t tell us much either. Shitty schedule.

That’s a fair assessment. I didn’t get to see the game. I know your offense is extremely explosive. How’s the defense coming around? Your team is definitely in the race to win the SEC.

Fair question. More of what I’ve seen in the past. Bend but don’t break defense. Offense that looks unbeatable one minute then the next minute we are committing holds etc. Short passes most of the game. Lots of penalties (plenty was BS). Maybe this was what we needed. Perhaps Lane will straighten these problems out before we hit the road in the SEC.
For all the Ole Miss fans who trash me….make sure you come back when our offensive line lets a 3 man rush right through. Or the constant 10 yard buffer given by defensive backs. We have some issues. But overall a good Ole Miss team. Just not sure we are top 10.
