re: Is Perkins still elite?

Your post made me think of something I missed; Perkins is tied for second on the team with four quarterback hurries. Whit Weeks leads with eight.
He has 1 less tackle than Whit Weeks(28), leads the team in tfl(3.5) and is tied for team lead in sacks (2). Also tied for 3rd on team with 3 pbu’s.

The offensive linemen don’t have pads on, so everything is to be taken with a grain of salt, but the defensive line was incredibly disruptive late in practice.

IMO LSU will call it a day if they dont get Serah. Unless they need someone to just fill their roster for practice purposes.
That would leave you dangerously thin in the front court. One injury takes you from little front court depth to none.

Day-Wilson played really well today
2 points on 1 of 5 shooting, 3 assists, 2 turnovers, 1 rebound.
Poa : 2 turnovers and goose eggs everywhere else
Hoping they can work Sheppard into the rotation a little more.
Will Blackwell said Miles did not change any of the game plan offensively from what they did in the first game.
The end.
The end.

Wasn’t Marcus Sr’s wife a good volleyball player or something?
Aiysha Smith Spears played basketball for LSU in the 01-02 & 02-03 seasons. She is 6’ 2” and Marcus is 6’ 4”, recipe for tall kids.

Was really hoping LSU could land her early on in the process. With Day-Wilson on board, that ship has most likely sailed.

Gardiner is not playing center and would not have started over Morrow.

Who cares!
You took time to post about something you don’t care about? Strange.

“Gilbert often fell into old habits of not sharing the ball. Barnes stated on multiple occasions that she understood that it was how Gilbert had played for most of her life simply because she had to on previous teams, but said that it would not work at this level.

Gilbert made it clear in conversations with the media that she still did not like playing defense, which is a requirement to play for Barnes. Several weeks ago, Barnes said that players would play both offense and defense or they would “rot on the bench.”
