The obvious choice:

quote:

Myles Garrett’s pass-rush grade since 2018: 91.2 (T-1st among NFL edge rushers in that span). Dominant

quote:

Myles Garrett recorded 12 pass rush wins on Thursday (plays where he beat his blocker within 2.5 seconds). That matches Garrett's career-high in a single game. In Week 1, no player in the NFL had more than 9 pass rush wins (ESPN pass rush metrics/NFL Next Gen Stats).

Julio or Stephon Gilmore. Both are top 5 in the league

Von has had a better career, but he’s on the later end of his prime.

Unless you’re taking about Evans. Very very good. Not the best though.

The guy outpacing jerry rice or the nfl rushing leader built like a John Deere. Hard to pick.

Now that Aldon Smith is back it’s pretty obvious

I'm happy that Myles is finally putting it together after three years of no performance at aTm

It’s amazing what happens when you jump from somewhere like A&M to a real organization like the Browns.

Not sure if MG is the best... but he's got a helluva helmet swing. Probably at least a 10 handicap kinda player.

Pretty sure it's still Derrick Henry.

He broke Clowney’s SEC freshman sack record then went on to 2x first team all sec & 2x first team all American.

This is a fair argument with how well he played when he had a QB to help keep defenses honest.

Yes. And like 85% percent of those sacks were against non-P5 teams.

The correct answer is the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year Stephon Gilmore.

It’s a quarterback league, so I gotta go with the man leading the league in yards and TDs!

What does Clowney's performance have to do with Stephon Gilmore being the best defensive player in the league right now?

He is a 3X Pro Bowler by the way.
