Speaking of Jalen Hurts. Since Alabama beat lsu from Jan 2012 (21-0 NC game where you lost to Bama) thru Nov 2018, Jan Hurts beat lsu every time he played them while he was at Bama.

Honestly, this really doesn't seem to be a controversy in Oklahoma.
When Hurts came here he made no bones about the fact that he was not renouncing his Bama "citizenship"...
It always did seem more like a business arrangement between both sides. Because that is how Jalen kind of came across. OU fans "respected" and appreciated Jalen more than they loved him.
Then he was gone and all the attention was heaped on Rattler... who had been so hyped for so long.
I would actually say that probably the thing that Jalen actually did that endeared him to OU fans more than anything is when he took the time to come back and walk at graduation at OU. He obviously didn't need to do that... but he did anyway.
