The only thing that would worry me about Box or Swayze is the concrete COLOR. I just know that nowadays you see a lot of faded, yellow concrete. I guess you can always paint that shite, though. Box looks really cool from the outside, but I'm a sucker for traditional. I LOVE the ballpark in arlington (or whatever they're calling it these days). It's a lot like Baum as far as the facade. To each their own. I'd love to follow the hogs to every SEC road game. Eh - maybe when I'm 50.

Thinking about making a game or two this weekend. You down? We'll bring cans this time.

I'll definitely be out there.
David's back in town this weekend too.

We're going to get there early so we can actually see the game this time.

1. Carolina Stadium
2. Baum
3. Box
4. Swayze
5. Plainsmen Park

6. Dudy-Noble

7. McKethan Stadium
8. Hawkins Field
9. Lindsey Nelson

10. Sewell Thomas Stadium
11. Foley Field
12. Cliff Hagen

Some may disagree with the rankings, but overall, the SEC West has it all over the East in terms of baseball facilities.

was trying to get a buddy of mine to come. He bailed on me. I should be available for the Sunday game and either Friday or Saturday.....likely my choice.

We've got the best looking flag poles in the SEC.

All kidding aside, I like the way Ole Miss's stadium looks on the inside. Some people may not like the white, but it looks nice to me. Probably have to pressure wash the hell out of that every year.

Also, Arkansas's is extremely nice with the suites extending all the way down the baselines.

10. Sewell Thomas Stadium

I haven't gone to a baseball game in a couple of years, and never to an away game, but there would have to be two absolutely piss poor stadiums out there for our ugly concrete and metal pile of shite to be considered 10th.

I know it's not the SEC, but PK Park is pretty awesome as well. Can't wait to see the new stadium.

It's pretty obvious that, of these three schools, each person from that school believes there's is better. You go there regularly every year and fall in love with it. And it's all about how you look at the question. What makes a stadium better? Atomosphere? Party? Niceness? The surface?

-I think Baum is probably the best overall. Mainly it's just so nice.

-I don't think Ole Miss could have done a better job rennovating their stadium. But it is a rennovation and not as nice as Baum. I've been to many games there and it really is a blast.

-The thing about Alex Box is how much room they have left for improvement. With the best program in the conference, it looks like that place could be insane after they add on every few years.

-South Carolina is top of the line as well.

I don't know how you rank any of these stadiums as better than the others. They all bring something to the table. Baum is nicer as of right now. LSU has the potential for future, an amazing outside, and the craziest fans in the country. I personally think the stadiums with the outfields like State and Ole Miss allow for the most fun experience at a game. Mississippi State set the bar for college stadiums today and because of how far ahead they were, they have now fallen behind, but not without a few attendance records. As soon as our rennovation plans are complete(gonna be a while) it might be another story. I'll take the left field lounge anyday. When we have a top of the line stadium again, there will still be rusty old trucks, trailors, and bleachers surronding the fence. Make fun of it all you want, but for me it's be best game experience in the SEC. Well I guess when we start winning again at least.

Tennesee's looks like it could be pretty incredible.

I can't rank these top stadiums. They are too close but too different. It's all about the credentials. We need a scoring system. But right now I'm thinking Baum. What makes me hesitant is I'm not sure it's as fun as LSU or OM. There's
an opinion from someone other than Ole Miss, Arkansas, or LSU.
