Has UAB beaten an SEC team in their history?

If so, who was it?

In 2000, UAB beat the SEC's LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge.

Lsu, 2000; 13-10
STATE, 2004; 27-13

They had a few others on the ropes over the years:
UGA, 2003; lost 16-13
Utk, 2005, lost 17-10
State, 2006, OT loss 16-10
Utk, 2010, OT loss 29-26
State, 2010, lost 29-24

UAB might win but it would probably be in OT

I agree. I watched all of UAB's opener with Jax State and last night's win vs. No. 13 BYU. And bits and pieces of other games.

I watched pretty much all of Auburn's games this season. I think it would be close, if the 2 played.

Better question: could UAB play within 4OTs of Bama.

I know that Auburn has played some in-state schools in the past 25 or so years (UAB, Jacksonville St., Alabama A&M, Alabama State, & Samford)

LSU does a really good job of playing in state schools as well.

When is the last time Alabama played a non- conference game against a school from within their own state?

My wife and I drove to College Park in 74 to see Bama win a close game vs the Terps. Randy White was a hoss for them.

That was a long drive from Montgomery.
