Tennessee football is dead, much like Michigan football or Notre Dame. The population isn't there to sustain a huge big-time football program.

True. How long was he at UT? Like 4 months?

Pretty much. He comes back and visits all the time though. I've seen him out the past couple weekends at Tin roof.

Basically TGII and KM just introducing themselves to all of America, and the end of the Derrick Dooley era.

What I find most hysterical is that much like GT, UT's best shot to beat us in the foreseeable future came last season yet they managed to squander the opportunity at home in OT just like the gnats. Really the only difference between them and GT is that GT has accepted their place as a mediocre program whereas UT still clings to the 90's like it was yesterday

Exciting Times!!!

All of that. Yes. Tech at least had decades of practice and had a more gentle fall. They at least make bowl games, ya know? This fall from grace is kinda like falling to earth at Mach 1

You knows this because? You don't know if they will improve of not. We'll see.

Yet earlier in this thread you declared that UT's quarterback issues would sort themselves out this season. Seems to be the same sort of statement

Well when you recruit nationally. Why would population matter? Not to mention have you not been keeping up with Nashville being one of the fastest grwoing cities in the country. Have you not noticed the state of TN is producing more blue chippers than normal lately?

Saying they'll sort out doesn't say how the season will go.

False.

Devrin Young, Marlin Lane, and Riyahd Jones weren't even starters for y'all.

Marlin Lane was. Devrin Young would have been had he not been injured all season. Riyahd Jones was a starter until he suffered from blood clots in his leg.

You can't judge a team by saying well he beat him so they would beat them.
