My head tells me USC-W will win, but my heart says go with UGA. If UGA fails to win this game, I would expect to see many players, fans jumping ship.

Carolina takes a big lead, the dawgs pretend they are coming back, but fall short near the end. The Fire Richt talk begins, but this time they're serious. I'd put my money on Carolina, straight up.
Read your entire post ... found most of it enjoyable, a lot of it homerish, some of it just plain wrong like the point you tried making to lessen Mike Davis' ability and, as you've already been corrected, Kenny Miles got the back-up carries with Lattie last year, not Davis.
Oh, and you failed to include any of Carolina's "intangibles."
Regardless, you got the bottom-line correct and that's really all that matters.

I did my research on Davis this Spring, and remembered some of that research wrong. By the time I got it together to rebut, the topic had already moved forward.
FWIW, I was going on the fact Davis had 52 carries last year, and Kenny had 62 after Lattimore went down. But overall, Kenny had alot more throughout the whole season. I was wrong, but not dip-shite wrong. I just remembered 3-month-old research wrong.
But the point I was making remains.
In looking up how wrong I was, I realized his numbers are actually shittier than I was giving him credit for.

I think UGA will pull this one out by at least a touchdown. They are comming off a very disappointing lose. They should be fired up for this game.

I'm confused by the new Deeprig, a year ago it would have been bashing, but this is actually very objective. :donottrust:

He was a true freshman last year battling for playing time with Miles.
He's a hard nosed-RB, we like him a lot. He's got better moves and is faster than Lattie was, and he doesn't mind getting the tough yards.
If Davis falters, Wilds will step-in in a heartbeat. Plus you'll see Shon Carson this weekend.
Some of the key intangibles you failed to mention for whatever reason ...
1 - The HBC is what, something like 4-4 since arriving at Carolina (4 outta the last 6 BTW) and was 12-1 vs UGA while at UF? Combined 16-5 not counting his playing years? The HBC seems to know-how to scheme well against Georgia.
2 - 25 Georgia homeboys on the Carolina roster are going home for this game.
3 - SC's seniors, the RJrs and a couple of the juniors who are leaving early will want to go-out having never lost to UGA. SCAR now believes they are supposed to beat Georgia every year - most of this team has never lost to Georgia. It's one of those things that makes a difference in the SEC, getting on a roll against a team or another coach. No one is better at getting into UGA's head than Spurrier.
4 - With the loss against Clemson, there is more pressure on Georgia to win this game than there is SCAR IMHO. And that could be a deciding factor, one way or another. How many times have we heard that a blowout loss is easier to overcome than a close emotional loss?

Tough one to call imo.
I think both running games are held in check. South Carolina has some play makers out wide and on special teams but UGA has the better QB. Really comes down (IMO) to how well Conner Shaw plays. If he can protect the football and pick up first downs with his running ability it may come down to who has the ball last.

Defense wins games in this league, so SC. Also,Spurrier is a better coach than Richt and Owns Georgia.

I thought it was sad when South Carolina fans were living off the legacy of Spurrier's accomplishments at Florida, but when Florida fans start trying to piggy back onto Spurrier's success at South Carolina, that's gun-in-mouth pathetic.
You should be ashamed of yourself.

He does own Georgia, nothing pathetic about that. If he was still coaching Duke he would own Georgia at Duke.
