UGA clearly has underachieved and LSU has clearly been better than them as of late

As of late? We've clearly been better than them since Bill Arnsparger was the coach. 6 SEC Titles and 2 NCs to 2 SEC Titles and 0 NCs. And that's still taking the 90's into account which was by far the worst era in our program's history.

#1. Do you expect to win this game?

YES, as I've stated earlier in the thread, I expect us to win by 7-10 points and I see it as our fourth most difficult game this year (behind CU, USCe, and UF). We're favored by 6 according to Vegas last account I had. It's not like this outlook is outlandish.

#2. Do you expect your front 7 to improve?

Do I think we'll be better than 12th in the conference against the run? Ummm, I'd be surprised if we weren't. J Jones was a pure pass rusher who didn't play the run well. Ogletree was a converted safety that was smallish for an ILB in a 3-4 that was more effective either pressuring the QB, running side line to side line, or dropping into coverage. Yes, I expect our run D to improve. Yes, I expect our pass D to take quite a hit. No, I don't expect Mettenberger to capitalize.

#3. If so, why do you write off LSU's when your front 7 has just as much if not more spots to replace?

Have I written off LSU's front 7? UF and Bama both had excellent front 7s last year. I simply said we ran the ball well against them and I don't expect LSU's front 7 to be as good as what those two teams produced last year. Is that for some reason unfathomable to you?

We have clearly have had the better program. I think anyone in the country with half a brain would agree.

That's it huh?

Perhaps he deserves a little more credit and admiration, but he absolutely did not transform LSU.

God forbid an LSU fan predict his team to win in a prediction thread

I didn't say you haven't had the better program. I'm just saying that recently there hasn't been much doing for LSU other than lots of wins...and lots of wins without winning the big game is what Richt has been getting beat up over for years. How is what LSU has done recently any different?

In the last 10 years yeah. If you're looking overall, it's really close.

Transform? Maybe not, but he definitely elevated the program from where he found it.

Sure. But I mean, who gives a frick? Really.

We argue about shite from the damn 30's on this board before any of our damn parents were in our granddaddy's ball sack.

Congrats, UGA and LSU were equals in the early 1900s

LSU is actually my 2nd favorite team in the SEC, always have been.

ETA: This is just an honest assessment of your program from an outsiders perspective. What you have going on now is no different than what Richt did from 2002-2008. Yet, Richt was destroyed for it and Miles is being praised.

I meant in general. The board as a whole.

Replace the word "argue" with whatever you want.

But it's dumb.

So essentially overall you expect your defense (especially run defense) to improve despite losing 2 first round Linebackers your starting and back up NTs and both dends.

However its crazy for us to expect to maintain our run defense after losing a 4-3 dend weighing 230 who will play OLB in the league, a dend who admitted to taking plays and games off and a d tackle that the coaching staff groomed. When we replace them with the two of the biggest d line prospects in LHSAA history who have big time SEC experience and played well, plus a guy who played as much as most starters and performed well?

All of which are bigger and better against the run than what left.

Crazy of us

Absolutely no way yall win by double digits. LSU will control the clock and pound your front seven.

How many BCSCGs did UGA play in between 2002 and 2008?
