who the frick cares about what their locker room looks like? 18 year old High school players? ok maybe. But as a 30 year old i could care less. Im not working out there....
All i care about is how the football team/other good sports are doing. Make sure the kids are representing the school well. competing for championships at least one out of every four years.
I will admit that I am happy to be a fan/alum of a school that takes great pride in everything it does.
It does seem like ATM is just now taking things more seriously. So don't say this is all possible because of oil money. its possible because of your move to the SEC.
Once y'all begin to admit that things will begin to move more smoothly here.

Except it's pretty much all possible because of oil money.

The news dropped yesterday that A&M's Bright Complex will receive a $16M overhaul.. New locker room, meeting rooms, offices, revamped theatre room, more tubs and shite--basically everything besides Bama's stupid waterfall. This got me thinking. A&M is about to runaway with the arms race. We just finished renovating Bright's lobby last year for a cool $4M. It's spectacular. Before that a new, state of the art dining hall was added to the complex. Sterling. Just before that we finished construction on a new weightroom, which is rivaled only by Bama's. And for the coupe de grace, the finest collegiate football venue in the country will be complete in August 2015. It seems obvious that once you mix these projects together, A&M's facilities will represent the country's gold standard starting next year. Who will match?

We initially released a horde of stray cats into the stadium to take care of the bat problem, but that just turned into an even bigger issue what with all the stray cats.

Just like putting plywood ON THE INSIDE of plate glass windows for hurricanes...

Since when do Aggies go after girls?

Just lipstick on a pig, still a design by an engineer, not an architect, must tear down the whole place and start over

Interesting.
Sam Ponder went to the game and said this:

@sam_ponder: Not for or against A&M, but I've been to all the "big time" stadiums & Kyle Field is my #1 recommendation..

We haven't made much at all off the SEC the last two years. We had to forego a lot of the TV money in year one.
No, it's not the SEC. At least not directly. It's more likely the $740M we raised in private donations last year.

No one. Every other school will just crawl into the fetal position. LSU isn't in the middle of a major renovation, state of the art dining hall and a complete gut of the locker room either.
Y'all are some weirdos though.

This statement is full of shite.
Spend $500 million on football facilities upgrades and your university will be at an elite status. This fall Kyle Field will hold two Autzen's.

You know you came from a shite-tier league when it costs you $500 mil just to get into the discussion about best facilities in the SEC.
