Not how it relates to the OP's figuring he is counting a 1492 Bama Rose Bowl win

If he counts that Miami has won in 3 of the 4 venues

Not to defend the bama fan, but he's probably referencing the 2009 rose bowl win.

Just so i don't feel dirty; if colt mccoy hadn't been playing for the pros that night...you guys were fricked.

I assume he was counting the 2009 BCS championship in the Rose Bowl. It's not called the Rose Bowl, but it was held there.

I'll go with Bama. LSU takes the Orange next year but Bama will be solid constantly every single year with Saban.

none of the title games will ever be played in that bowl game by that logic, and it becomes a historical debate not looking forward

I'm calling bs on this word play.

I have to say no team accomplishes thus unlike the current format is changed. The BCS game is no longer played for the Rose, Fiesta, Sugar or Orange Bowls. Those bowl games are played on or around Jan 1st thru Jan 5th or 6th.

The BCSNCG is a stand alone game, it is no longer called the Sugar BCSNCG Bowl.

You big 10 and pac 10 numbnuts that make this whole Rose Bowl argument make me giggle.

First off, the name of the stadium is The Rose Bowl. So every team that plays there actually plays in The Rose Bowl.

But yall always want to get technical with the wording, except that you all always completely ignore 1 word from the official name of the game of which you tards are speaking. "Game".

So when anyone says they played in The Rose Bowl, as long as they played in that stadium they are correct. The annual bowl game played on Jan 1 that showcases the Big 10 and Pac 12 champions from that year is officially named "The XXXth Annual Rose Bowl Game presented by XXXX" (this year Vizio if I remember correctly.) The key part of the name being "The Rose Bowl Game".

So as long as we dont say we played in "The Rose Bowl Game" then yalls little argument that yall LOVE to make, is full of shite.

Got some sticklers today. You win the national title at the rosebowl, or at the fiesta bowl, then it counts.

Also since we're all being intentionally frustrating, i'd point you to the OP's topic

Who will be the first to win a BCSNCG in all four (wait for it) venues.

The names of the stadiums are "The Sugar Bowl" and "The Rose Bowl" and "The Orange Bowl". The Fiesta Bowl does not follow this example though. The Orange Bowl also no longer follows this example since they closed the old stadium that was named such., but it did at one time.

I just get tickled when the Pac 12 and Big 10 elitists start this bullshite because 99.99999% of the time, their argument is completely invalid because they obviously dont even know the actual name of the bowl game in which they have their little game of inter-conference grabass.

Technically there would be 6 since The Fiesta Bowl has been played in 2 different stadiums. The old original Fiesta Bowl and now the new Phoenix Cardinals stadium.
