I'm torn between Bama and Texas for obvious reasons on both sides. Convince me why I should pull for either team!

im only pulling for Texas because I won't be able to enjoy the SEC rant for a while if Bama wins. I could really care less deep down who wins though. 4 SEC teams in a row would be pretty cool.

I think you should pull for BAMA.

1. We are the SEC and it makes all of us look better when one of us wins the NC.

2. When an SEC teams wins the NC it increases the chances of a 1 or even 2 loss team making it to the NC game at the end of the year.

3. I think y'all compete more with Texas for recruits than you do Alabama.

Just my opinion.

Bama, then the SEC will have 4 BCS/National Champs in a row, never been done by any conference.

this. also you know the rant will be filled up with rantards talking about how bama winning is the end of lsu football. a texas win will help us avoid all of that.

Instead of kissing arse to teams you consider rivals maybe you should want them to lose. You'll never hear the end of it from Bama fans about how they are back on top, how they are superior to you, etc, etc.

They think this regardless.

Is there any possible way for them to play to a 0-0 tie and both miss OT FGs?

if we win then 2 of your losses came from last year's national champ and this year's... which makes LSU not look nearly as bad!

Obviously Bama. That way you can say that you lost by 9 (right?) to the National Champions at their house and you can also holler "jackhole refs!" Because LSU did get victimized that game.

I'm sure there's at least one future performer who has offers to attend Texas/LSU. If not, there will be. If given a chance to play the national champions and quite possibly win, that may make the difference and sway him to Baton Rouge.

On the other hand, Texas winning benefits none of us.
