Hard to top their leadership and the way they inspired their team simply through the way they played the game.

That play is hilarious to watch. He was lost the entire play and just stood there while Fairly freaking army crawled around him.

I also read where they named a trophy after him for the best CFP that started as a walk-on. Is that an offcial NCAA tyope trophy or just a U Ark deal?

It is given by the Rotary Club in Springdale, AR. Any Div 1 walk-on player is eligible. It was just started in 2010 so there have been two awarded so far.
2010 Sean Bedford C Georgia Tech

the guy will be a bust IMO. I don't think he will be able to compete in the SEC
That didn't turn out how you thought it would, did it?
To answer the OP. Julio Jones, Tyrone Prothro, Shaun Alexander for me.
Non bama...Fred Taylor, Earl Bennett, Derek Pegues

Tough call here. From OM, Dexter comes to mind pretty quick. From LSU, I always like Skylar Greene(sp?) and Early Doucet. At State, Smoot was good. Hillis was cool at Arky. I could go on, but I don't really feel like it...

Defenses keyed in on him, sometimes double and even triple covered him - and he still got wide open.
That 2001 season was unbelievable. I would be shocked if we had a game in the last 4 years where we had 293 passing yards. He alone had that alone in receiving yards against Bama with 18 catches.(still can't come close to breaking that record in my NCAA games)

For me, it is Trent because I was privileged to watch in person as many times as I did. After that, Julio was awesome to watch in person.
IMO, JULIO massively underachieved. Dude shouldve been unguardable and went 10 games without a TD.

Rickdaddy--thats cool but lets not go there in this thread. Lets keep it to your favorite player. Not the greatest of all time, or overrated/underrated or overachieved or underachieved. Lets just keep it to who is your favorite player in the SEC.

Another one I have not seen mentioned - Glenn Dorsey, a one man wrecking crew. When not getting the stats he was just mucking up the entire oline of opponent.

2653 yards and 11 touchdowns in 3 years playing injured half of the time on a run first football team. Yea Rick that's massively under achieving

not to mention he had 319 yards receiving in 3 games against "DBU"
