No doubt boosters pull the strings and played a large role in BP's hiring. But most fans are not big money boosters so how do WE deserve this because he was hired. I do believe, whether you'll admit it or not, you are a closet disgruntled Atlanta fan though.

I believe this post was aimed at fans. As a fan, I don't recall being a part of the hiring process when we got BP. That being said, I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

My thoughts exactly. May not get better but don't see it getting any worse without Smith. We'll be lucky to win another game, this year, anyway. so what's the harm in giving someone else a shot for the remainder of season?
And I'm not mad, Hawgeye. Just extremely disappointed. Not saying we should be great, under the circumstances, but we shouldn't be losing games as badly as we have.

I just can't see staying on board this train wreck. It would be different if we were at least losing some close games and showing progress from week to week but we just seem to get worse. Tyler is even starting to look sloppy and I never thought I'd see that.

I really don't see where any of the other coaches on staff show any more potential than JLS but after four straight smack downs, shouldn't we at least try someone else. It definitely can't get any worse.

I am aware. I'm also aware that JSU doesn't have near the o-line bama does. My biggest concern isn't with the d-line though but with the secondary. I don't think Bama has a high octane passing game but if they find weakness in our secondary they are fully capable of exploiting it.

They have the ability to torch us, if we have no secondary. And there is a HUGE difference between JSU and Bama rushing attacks. I have faith that, after tonight, the D will be better by then. If they're not, we're screwed.

It is given by the Rotary Club in Springdale, AR. Any Div 1 walk-on player is eligible. It was just started in 2010 so there have been two awarded so far.

Was supposed to be out in like 2010. Was supposed to be made by same people who did "Rudy". I really don't know what happened with it though. Would love to see it if ever completed. It is a really good story with a tragic ending.
