Besides the baggage, what do you think about Durkin? I think Auburn’s defense is very sound.

I know you weren't asking me, but I think a defensive coach needs to be a great CEO because you can't really call the defense as a head coach like you can offense. I'm not sure Durkin can be a CEO type. There are some guys that can be successful if you stick them in a phonebooth handling their role and that's it, and to me that's Durkin.

What evidence do you have that he can’t be a CEO?

Apparently the program was kind of a clusterfrick when he was the HC at Maryland. Toxic culture and a player died.

LSU is kind of stuck right now. Kelly's not good enough to get them to the next level and he's not bad enough for him to be fired.

Florida is looking at a clean slate so they can improve. I think Auburn will soon be also.

With Kelly, LSU will not get dramatically worse.

UF and Auburn have proven to make bad coaching decisions. It’s really a crap shoot between the two.

Florida is a basketball school like Kentucky.

Auburn. They’ve basically had no success since 2017, and they have John and Nelle Cohen calling the shots.

Easy. Us. And it isn’t even close. The money men in Auburn still fully support Freezus and think he should be 5-2 if not for the officials.

Meanwhile Auburn fans see FSU who is still apparently a train wreck and wanting their coach gone, that train wreck has more SEC wins than us.

God it sucks being an Auburn football fan most years. We caught lightning in a bottle in 2010 and 2013 and have been less than decent most other years since then.

Either way here is how I see it. Auburn as a program hasn’t finished a season with less than 4 losses since 2013. We haven’t beaten UGA since 2017. And in our 100+ years of football we have only won 10 games in back to back seasons ONCE and that was in the 80s before expanded schedules.

Please tell me how LSU (lol at even putting them with us) or even Florida are in a worse spot?

LSU is stuck with a 50 million plus buyout. We are going to suffer for the next two years with this loser.
