Missouri and South Carolina really have case for a better history than Arkansas.

All things considered: Kentucky.
Academics not included: Vandy.
I think Kentucky's recruiting better than Vandy & Miss St. so this may be change in a year or two.

Arkansas has a better tradition than Ole Miss IMO. More all americans, more conference wins, better win percentage over all. Ole Miss has a better bowl record and claims more NCs.
I could see how one might argue the programs are equal historically but I don't see how you could say Ole Miss is better. Arkansas has too much going for it.
And Missouri? LMFAO. No.

Mizzouri is comparable with Arkansas. South Carolina has a case for recent history but has a little ways to go to make up for 70 years of sucking.
I must admit that my ranking Ole Miss above Arkansas has to do with my bias towards the SEC. Arkansas actually has a significantly better win percentage than Ole Miss, but Ole miss was a great SEC program during the late 50s to early 60s. Arkansas had one really good year in '64. Other than that, it was a pretty average SWC program for much of its history.

No we don't. Arkansas was doing it big time back in the Broyles' hay day with Switzer on the staff, Jones and Johnson, Billy Moore, Ken Hatfield, Ronnie Caveness, et al. But that wasn't the point of this thread - some Arkansas fans went immediately defensive which, who knows, may have been the point of this thread, I'm not sure.
Thing about we SCAR fans, we know about our past - we just don't dwell in it, but when we do go there we use it to get better.

:::::::::: sighhhhhh :::::::::: SCAR has not sucked for seventy years. But I'm not going there, not going to waste my time.

My argument would be Kentucky. There is absolutely no reason that UK should not be at least as successful as USCe or Tenn. They should be getting great recruits out of Ohio and Illinois.
Ever since Stoops has taken over we have pulled croots out of Ohio. Boggles the mind why the coaches before him never hit that state.
As far football program suck goes, we've have to change the culture of not only the fans but the administration and boosters.

Academics-certainly not. People on the here don't even know what MSU has, or offers, or has done.
Tradition in football-I'll give you that one, but State has, until recently, always been it's own worst enemy. Things are changing.
Facilities-The newest football ops center around, it's speaks for itself. Stadium expansion. Davis-Wade will add premium seating packages that are the first of it's kind in college football. People will come visit and emulate.
Anything else?

And yet, just this year Ole Miss nudged ahead in their series with Vandy 43-42-2. Interdasting.
You realize this series dates back to a time when Vandy was not the Vandy you know today (or from recent history)?

He fricked up the numbers anyway. It's 48-38-2 Ole Miss leading

State or Kentucky
ETA: State has made major facility upgrades in the last couple of years.

We're in the process of doing so now. Our stadium will be really fricking nice once it's finished.
