the resume for the whole season is what is being considered... i don't understand how anyone can fail to understand that
11-1 is 11-1. We are all three in the same division so schedules are similar enough already and in this scenario we would all have 1 loss to one of the 3 in question.
All things equal we are the only 1 of 3 to play both the other 2 on the road. If we split while the other 2 each lose a home game, that should be more than enough to put us in the SECCG.

yes, it would be... but you need to tell the difference somehow or there could be no tiebreaker

similar enough is probably not the right way to look at it with tiebreakers

now there you have a point in your favor... but that would only be one of the things people who vote in opinion polls would look at.
another that would be discussed would probably be whether one of the teams in question got completely destroyed (like bama did to arky this year)

Best resume = 1) LSU 2) Alabama 3) Arkansas
Best chance to Atlanta = 1)Alabama 2) LSU 3)Arkansas
*Assuming Stanford and Okst eliminate themselves
Alabama would move up to #1 and it would be a battle between LSU, Arkansas, and Oregon for #2.
I am not saying this is right or wrong, but how could LSU not drop from number one if they lose a home game this late in the season. And if it is close we would have the advantage of having dominated Arkansas.

Actually that's not true according to what you said LSU would have the best chance to get to Atlanta because if Bama and LSU finish 2 and 1 in that order of BCS LSU will win head to head tie-breaker to go to Atl

This makes no sense. Bama has pretty much zero chance of making it to Atlanta. In order for Bama to make it to Atlanta, LSU would have to fall to 3rd out of Arky-Bama-LSU....which will not happen.
As long as Bama-LSU are 1-2 (no matter the order), then LSU goes to Atlanta.
Again, the ONLY way that Bama goes to Atlanta is if Arky-Bama are 1-2 (no matter the order) and LSU is 3rd. LSU's computer rankings alone will keep them in one of the top 2 spots out of the three tied teams.
LSU is likely going to end up the highest ranked of the three teams, even with a loss to Arkansas. The real question is who is second, Bama or Arkansas? If it's Bama, then LSU goes to Atlanta. If it's Arkansas, then Arky goes to Atlanta. Nonetheless, and it sucks for Bama, the Crimson Tide have little, if any, shot of making to the SECCG.

I'll put an end to all of this right now:
Arkansas has faced the easiest schedule in the SEC, according to the combined records of their opponents. The Hogs’ FBS foes are a combined 34-37 (.479).
Here’s a look at the combined records of the FBS opponents for all 12 SEC schools:
Tennessee: 47-23 (.671)
LSU: 46-26 (.639)
Ole Miss: 46-26 (.639)
Vanderbilt: 44-28 (.611)
Alabama: 43-29 (.597)
Auburn: 47-32 (.595)
Mississippi State: 41-31 (.569)
Kentucky: 41-32 (.562)
South Carolina: 45-36 (.555)
Florida: 43-37 (.538)
Georgia: 38-33 (.535)
Arkansas: 34-37 (.479)
Here’s a look at the combined records of those FBS teams each SEC school has beaten this season:
LSU: 46-26 (.639)
Alabama: 34-29 (.540)
South Carolina: 31-32 (.492)
Tennessee: 11-14 (.440)
Georgia: 23-31 (.426)
Auburn: 22-30 (.423)
Arkansas: 26-36 (.419)
Kentucky: 10-18 (.357)
Mississippi State: 12-24 (.333)
Ole Miss: 3-6 (.333)

Added that to the OP, because that definitely should be a determining factor in breaking the 3-way tie, should it come to fruition.
To me this is easy....if Arky beats LSU, it should be LSU-Bama-Arky. The facts definitely point to this being the final order of the three teams.

11-20 bump....
It should be pretty clear by now that as long as the LSU-Arky game is close, LSU will represent the SEC West in Atlanta. The computers for LSU are too strong, and it would take nearly 100% of human voters putting LSU at 3 or worse, which won't happen. The human votes will be spread out between LSU-Arky-Bama, and the human polls will likely end up Bama-Arky-LSU with an Arky win, but the BCS rankings will have Bama/LSU in the top 2 spots.

So I take it that reality has finally set in for Arkansas fans that the BCS will indeed be Bama-LSU-Arky if a miracle takes place and Arkansas wins Friday...

3. Arkansas, by default, should be ranked 3rd highest of the three teams. Arkanasas dominated ONLY 6 of the 12 teams it faced.
The most ironic thing about this lil' nugget is if we beat LSU, LSU will offer up the opinion they shouldn't fall to 2nd or 3rd because Arkansas was "good"..."3rd in the BCS" they'll say.
If we're badly overrated today, I don't want to hear a thing about how wrong you were

Definitely one of the biggest homers on this board. Quickly ascending to HawgAulde status.
