What is true…is the Texas fanbase as they have done since their inception, is turn on their own. They killed, barbecued and ate Bevo the first. Lol

actually, I think that is real because they showed it live.. I might be remembering it wrong, but I remember thinking :ouch:

I love horns down though.. especially when we aren’t even playing in the game where they are doing it..

Don’t know that, but I do know the name BEVO was born out of necessity to cover up a 13 - 0 branding iron on the longhorn side, courtesy of the Aggies
Just another aggy lie believed by aggies only, very gullible aggies.
Still like their 12th man lie, once told they must continue.
Now a part of the cultish rituals.
poor aggies

Cocky assed sooner (aren’t they all?) Might you have a story to go along with this?

Saw this elsewhere:
Razorback fan living in Oklahoma was at an 80 + year old cousin’s funeral in a small community in Texas. The cousin had gone to UT years ago. As things were winding down at the graveyard, a CD played the “Eyes of Texas” and everyone stood and started singing while giving the hook ‘em sign.
The person turned to a sibling and said “I feel so dirty. I shouldn't be here". He then did the “horns down” sign but out of respect for the family, kept his hand in his pocket.
I have no doubts whatsoever that this is a true story.
Having said that, if the state of Texas ever decides to go its own way, I wanna go with them.
