How can we call Mizzou a sleeper when they won it twice? I know they didn't get any first place votes, which is dumb, but they IMO are still the favorites to defend or one fo the favorites.

My darkhorse for the east is UF.

I don't think there are sleepers in the West. I wouldn't bet more money on any one team than another.

It's unbelievable how overlooked they are, not just on here but by SEC media and fans in real life.

I remember predicting them to win the east in one of the prediction threads on here last year and being laughed off the board and called a fricking idiot, mostly by fans of other east teams

My sleeper for the east is also UF

East - Missouri (maybe not a true sleeper but no one ever picks them)

They are the two time defending champs.

West - A&M

That defense, though.

He's not a miracle worker. The defense will be improved (how could it not be), but not good enough to win the West, IMO. Not in year 1.

A sleeper is a team that nobody saw coming. Therefore, Missouri is not a sleeper. Hell, the fact that you picked them means they are not a sleeper.

And Myles Garrett is quite possibly the least disciplined DE I've ever seen. How many times a game does he lose containment? You had better hope Chavis can teach this kid.

East - Florida. They lost some close games last year and if they can begin developing some of the solid recruiting classes they could surprise some folks.

West - LSU. I feel like people are sleepin on LSU. They were crazy young last year and now have good experience and if they can find a quarterback they could be dangerous if they get some momentum.

Sleepers...

Arkansas and Tennessee.

I don't consider LSU to be a sleeper team as I expect a heated 3-way competition between them and the Alabama teams.
