I was also surprised at Barber's lack of carries at LSU. The guy basically saved our butt the first two games and put up very solid back to back 100yd performances and then he gets cut down to 7 carries. Why?

East - Florida. They lost some close games last year and if they can begin developing some of the solid recruiting classes they could surprise some folks.
West - LSU. I feel like people are sleepin on LSU. They were crazy young last year and now have good experience and if they can find a quarterback they could be dangerous if they get some momentum.

Of course the offense should have control over tempo because they are the ones who are in possession and control of the ball. Why would the defense have a say over the tempo when they are not the ones in control of the ball?

Don't try to make this about Auburn. I didn't start a thread trying to prove Auburn has success by whipping up some retarded stats. I don't need to make a thread like that because our championships prove our success. 2 SEC titles in the past 5 years earns us our place among the big dogs. This is about Mizzou trying to make a case for being an elite team when they haven't won a conference championship since 1969.

I don't care about magazine team predictions etc. but I do love Phil Steele every year for the wide array of info. Things like the experience charts, the individual player rankings and stats make it my go to book throughout the season. Sometimes there are little mistakes here and there but this year I see the biggest mistake I have ever seen from him. Look at his top 33 RB's list and tell me who's missing! Damn Phil! Still a great mag though.

I dont care what he did off the field. On the field he was a HOF player and therefore deserves to be in the HOF. He deserves it more than the roid heads who cheated to win.

Im trying to figure out how Georgia could be RBU, they have no consistency from the position. Six of the last 10 years they haven't even had a 1000yd rb.
