But by that same token, college baseball teams don't even get the best talent out of high school. Most of those players goes straight to the professional ranks. At least women's college bball gets the best players in their respective sport.

But that statement also justifies why college WBB is a joke of a sport. They have access to all of the "talent" yet watching them play is absolute agony.

yea the best talent
is why its not a sport bc it has no talent.
also what those attendance numbers tell me is that ole people and lesbos are within driving distance of most sec cities

Okay. This thread is about who the best coaches are in the SEC. What does your personal opinion about women's basketball are don't really matter. Relative to the other coaches in her sport, Summitt is #1.
The points I was making are that women's basketball is "big" enough to justify her inclusion, since you included a baseball coach and women's basketball is bigger than college baseball based on actual facts.
I have succeeded in making this point.
your only retort has been "women bball is ghey they can't dunk(most of them)hahahahahah".

Best Coach is Pat Summitt. No one close to her record or NCs

except he doesnt coach a sport so he doesn't qualify for this.
sports would be:football, real basketball, baseball, track and field, swimming, bass fishing

You've reached troll territory at this point. And I'm the one with 30 posts.

seriously his stats mean nothing to me bc its not a real sport. womens basketball is below inter mural sports. its not hard to rack up wins and titles when you only have 1 other team that really gives a frick about winning.
gene chizik even belongs ahead of pat summit

One of his main points is the ESPN coverage of CWBB......so by his standards the National Spelling Bee should replace baseball in the Big 3
Posted on 6/9/09 at 6:15 pm to pankReb
Another point was ratings. Spelling Bee, unlike women's bball, doesn't surpass college baseball in ratings.
And its not just ESPN. I'm still waiting for you to post all the times LSU baseball has been on SI's cover.
ESPN and SI are the 2 biggest sports names out there.

Fixed it for you.
and we have said it before, ESPN beats off to those feel good minority stories(minority = gender not ethnicity in this case)
And SI is a complete joke of a magazine now. All that it has turned into is a very uninformative picture book.
"wow, look at this wicked awesome picture they got"

Women's basketball has better X's and O's than the men's game
Pat Summitt couldn't win 3 SEC games in the men's league.

Again, more people IN THE SOUTH attend/watch women's bball than baseball. Let alone in the north.
someone just posted avg attendance per game and you are wrong.

and by the way, everyone knows fundamentals are just a crutch for the talentless.

HBT, I hate WBB more than you (I live here in the town that has the fake bball hall of fame) but calling Summitt a man isn't needed to make your point. She's a class act who has a child. She has never been inappropriate towards her players. As far as I'm concerned, it's the "Big 2". College Baaeball is not exactly the most popular sport in the world either. I have been to Hoover and Omaha but I realize baseball is not on the same level as the "Big 2".
Posted on 6/9/09 at 7:57 pm to volwarrior33
its not but its defiantly ahead of the crap that is called womens basketball.
Posted on 6/9/09 at 8:00 pm to heartbreakTiger
It's just not. Being ahead means being a bigger deal. If you think women's bball sucks god bless you, but facts are facts and being "bigger" has to do with actual numbers that women's bball is ahead in.
