Women's basketball is more popular than college baseball, has much more media exposure, and is where it is today almost solely because of Pat Summitt.
Get your sexist head out of your fat arse.
Pat Summitt is more famous/recognizable than any non-football coach on your list and you know it.
Go up to 100 casual sports fans and ask them who Pat Summitt is and then ask them who whoever the frick LSU's baseball coach is and see which one they know.

Jeez, I thought some would try to find some justification for women's basketball not being legit beyond the usual sheer sexism/mysogyny but I guess not.

Funny, cuz the Lady Vols routinely play HS men's teams in practice and wipe the floor with them.
Women's basketball has better X's and O's than the men's game and they are definitely more physical than baseball players.

2)If you are saying women's basketball lacks the excitement to be a real sport, what does that say about college baseball? I guess people are just gluttons for boerdom for attending and watching women's basketball over college baseball.
Honestly, if women's bball ain't your thing, fine. It's really not mine either. I'm just defending its position as one of the big "3" sports.
Ratings, attendance, and media exposure govern how "big" a sport is. I think hockey is a more "manly" sport than NBA, but I won't argue that its "bigger" than NBA.

sorry its not one of the big 3 sports. just bc tenn and uconn care doesn't mean that many really do. They get more coverage on espn bc of uconn alone.
