Losing Game 2 of the Super Regional last year (2016) to Arizona. Had the game won and blew it. Had a rested Zac Houston ready for game 3 and he was pitching as well as anyone at the time.

2014 was probably more disappointing once I realized all of our good players were gone after our 3 straight 11 win seasons.
2015 made me apathetic toward football. Spurrier quitting. Shawn Elliott, arse clown who took over. Citadel.

2010...i thought that team would still be solid under Brantley and had 2 fast backs in Demps and Rainey. They looked like a pure shitshow and Brantley was shite. Meyer was checked out too.
Brantley wasn't nearly as bad as UF fans attack him for being.
He was thrown into a crap system, with a crap OC, trying to run a Tebow offense with a pro style QB.
See 2011 under Weis. First five games, he was awesome. He threw for more yards in a half vs bama than all but one QB did in an entire game(before he got hurt in the game). He was not the reason Florida sucked.

2000.
It's really difficult to top that scenario. Coming into the season, we were defending SEC champions, ranked in the top five, and were being picked by some prognosticators as shoe-ins for a BCS bowl and maybe even an appearance in the national title game. Then we play UCLA out in Pasadena to start the season, score a touchdown the very first time a Bama player touches the ball, before watching the season collapse before our eyes.
We got whipped at the line of scrimmage that game and got beat by 11 points. Then we lost 21-0, at home, against Southern Miss just two weeks later! That is probably the most embarrassing loss Alabama has suffered this century. The team was fat, slow, and out of shape. How we were able to defeat South Carolina by 10 and Ole Miss by 38 that year is beyond me.
And on top of ALL of that, we found out sometime during the season that the NCAA was investigating us for possible recruiting violations. That turned into the Albert Mean scandal and that turned into one of the most depressing eras in Alabama football history.

I agree that it was a bad fit with Addazio. SA was a crap OC too.
Too bad he got hurt vs Bama because he did look good at that point.

2012 was zero fun. 0-8 in the SEC. Worst season in my lifetime. And that's a long lifetime.

Too many years to pick just one as MSU fan, but the 1 most disappointing game was Mullen's first year. We had LSU beat. All our qb had to do was pitch the ball to Anthony dixon and he walks in. I was sick for a few days and still can't watch again.
