Yes. He went #1 overall and won Five MVPs by fluke very overrated. Same for Andrew Luck and John Elway I suppose.

It took him 5 years in the league, with 2 HOF WR's and All Stars all over the offense before he completed 63% of his passes. He's obviously tGOAT, but he wasn't always. He became that through relentless work ethic and a passion for the mental side of the game.

Dude didn't even win a playoff game until his 6th season.

"Had two Hall of Fame wide receivers"

The only way Harrison or Wayne would get to Canton would be by hitchhiking if they weren't playing for Peyton.

Peyton always has tons of "weapons" everywhere he goes. Crazy how that works out.

How'd Eric Decker do this past year, by the way?

Don't forget all those elite defenses he has had, too. I'm surprised that hasn't been mentioned. He has had about one great defense in Indy and one in Denver. It's a tribute to how great he is that people call him overrated, because there is no other QB that so much is expected.

leaving Tebow's rushing stats out limits at least half the story.

It's not Tebow

Duh Tebow didn't throw that many picks- actually this made me look at Tebow's passing stats:

661/995 9285 88TDs 16 INTs 170.4 Rating

So yeah, even without the most rushing TDs in SEC history (any position) still a super efficent QB.
